So, this is something.
After a bit of research, I've discovered that blog posts are a standard tool used by writers to build a community revolving around them and their work.
It's not so surprising to me that I have trouble believing it, but just surprising enough that I struggled with the idea of whether or not I should make a blog.
So here I am, now 2:15am, writing this on my laptop while Black Clover plays in the background. I wasn't sure what I should make this about, if anything specific, and just went with what rolled out first.
That ended up moving towards talking about literally anything that floats into my head just before it dashes back out.
Boring, probably, but it's my first blog post, so I'm sure I'll get a reprieve.
It's funny, I don't even post on social media really. Most of my posts are weeks, sometimes months, apart. But it looks like this will have to be a more regular thing if I want it to mean anything. And I might need guest writers? That's a thing??
I should probably blame my age for knowing so little about blogs and their uses. It is now 2:20am, and I am trying to remember what I knew about blogs before today. One was a major plot point in an episode of House, that I remember.
Just realized I mentioned designing a website in the title and have yet to say anything about designing a website. Well, what can ya do? Things can turn out to be disappointing sometimes.
It is now 2:25am because I decided to throw this whole thing into grammarly just to be safe. Don't want my first blog post riddled with errors and inconsistencies.
